New direction!

I bought a box of book covers, someone had taken the time to strip out the pages and all that was left were the covers, old and a little worn, and maybe 20 in the box. I bought them for a song and they have been collecting dust (with some other items I had to have) like a spoon rack with 50 or 60 spoons. So I stared at it for quite some time and along with my knowledge from the Lipstick ranch classes, made this piece, I love it and hope you will too. So here she is: I call her "Sammy" the next is: " The Girl in the window"

These pieces can be bought on Etsy-seller: Tomorrow's Treasures

The top picture is my house ready for fall or Halloween or both. Welcome!!

These are beautiful! What a great idea to use the old worn book covers. I've never seen anything like this before and it's really inspiring. I love mixed media and all the interesting things that can be done with this great art form! Thanks for your blog of inspirations and encouragement!
