My paper dolls (repro) from 1947

These are the paper dolls I had when I was a child that my mom bought in Chicago's loop. I just found these reproductions on ebay a couple of months ago. Just showed the front and one page of showgirl outfits.Oh, What fun that was!! I have 4 sets for my greatgranddaughters when they get a little older.

Hi Betty,I love your paper dolls, they are way sexier than the ones I got to play with as a child...My paper dolls were from the discarded Sears and Robuck catologs...lol...but still loved them.....

I did the catalogues too, furniture and everything. Aren't you surprised that they had these kind of paper dolls way back then? Fun to talk about tho anyway. Betty

I will admit, I was never too big on paper dolls, or actually dolls of any kind...I was too busy imagining and reading books. But these are great, and I'm so happy you have these to share with your great-grandkids!

Hi laura, on the back of the paper dolls is a tag-it says the doll cradle so I guess that is where I bought them. I went there and sent them an e-mail to see if they had any more , but they haven't responded, so maybe if you wrote to them too they may answer, They were hard to find so when I found them I bought enough for the little girls. They are too young now to appreciate them.
