St. Patrick's Day!!!
Hope you have a wonderful day and celebrate the Holiday with some corned beef and cabbage and a frosty glass of green beer! Here is an olde Irish Blessing:
..................
Wishing you always -
Walls for the wind
And a road for rain
And tea beside the fire.
Laughter to cheer you,
And those you love near you,
And all that your heart might desire!

Flag book & grunge challenge pieces!!
This is a flag, accordian style book made from directions on the PID blog by Gabrielle Madsen. Isn't fully embellished but you can see the use and if you made 2 you could dispay or house 16 ATC cards. These cards are ones that I have received in the PID yahoo group. If you are interested there is a tutorial. for this. The one on the front is one that I did for a "Flowers and Wings" ATC jackpot challenge.
...............
The two grunge pieces are for a challenge on PID. Is it grunge? What do you think?
Give me your opinion on what you think grunge is. This was my conception but perhaps someone else's idea is different.

Getting close to drawing date!! Mar. 15th
I have a few things going today, so here goes, it is almost the the 15th so I will be notifying the winner of the giveaway on that day and shipping off their prize. On another note I have done a couple of triptychs for a swap(mine) on PID and members are invited to join in and make one of these and we will swap them out. I thothought it was a nice spring project, we are all thinking about Spring, gardens, flowers, the smell of fresh cut grass and everything that is pleasant about the coming seasons. I am already drinking limeade and saw a glass with fresh strawberries added , isn't that about as summer as it gets? The blue piece is for a swap on PID called "Time". Mine is named "Time on my hands" as the little guy has a clock in his hand. It was fun and I was happy with the result. Added glossy accents to the large clock., love that finish.

My paper dolls (repro) from 1947
These are the paper dolls I had when I was a child that my mom bought in Chicago's loop. I just found these reproductions on ebay a couple of months ago. Just showed the front and one page of showgirl outfits.Oh, What fun that was!! I have 4 sets for my greatgranddaughters when they get a little older.
